Fresno has very large Hmong and Lao populations, with 6.2% of the total population identifying as Hmong and 1.2% Lao. The area is a vibrant hub for Hmong & Lao community, cultural, and business gatherings. Fresno is also home to the largest Hmong New Year Celebration in the U.S. at the Fresno County Fair.
